Semi-Transparent Type Tutorial

Step 1: Type your text.

Step 2: Put a selection around your text. Hide your type layer. Click on the background layer.

Step 3: Press apple + J. Click on your layer styles and choose drop shadow click directly on the words Inner Shadow. Next click on
the words Inner glow. Click OK.

Step 4: Drag the type layer into the trash.

Step 5: Click on your background layer. Hold down the apple key +L to brighten your background image.
